Why write about Data Operations?

Data Operations helps operational leaders approach integration, automation, and product challenges with a growth mindset.

Each weekly issue has a short long-form essay, informative links, and one thing that seems like a toy but might be much more important in the future.

When teams talk about “Operations” there is a gray area: where the systems meet. You might hear about “problems with Salesforce”, or “problems with Zendesk”, or “problems with Marketo” in a typical sales/cs/marketing stack of applications.

We’re trying to make workflow and “handshakes between systems” into a digital good to measure and improve without forgetting the pieces that need to stay analog.
